Our Legacy of Service

Every project tells a story. At Fanshawe Rotaract, we turn ideas into impact — from cleaning rivers to feeding families and inspiring students. Here’s a look at the work we’ve done to uplift our community.

Peace Walk

We organized a 3.5km Peace Walk across London, Ontario to promote unity, nonviolence, and global peace awareness among students and community members.

Financial Intelligence Seminar

We invited financial experts to educate students on budgeting, saving, and smart money habits through interactive sessions.

Immigration Policy Talk

A thought-provoking session that brought students together to discuss Canada's immigration policies, student pathways, and newcomer experiences. The talk encouraged open dialogue and awareness on a vital issue impacting our community.

Food Drive

We partnered with food banks, local stores, and individuals to gather essential food items to support struggling families — with a focus on helping single mothers during the holiday season.

Fill the Train Initiative

As part of a city-wide collaboration, we helped fill a metaphorical train with toys, winter items, and supplies for families in need.

Christmas Visit to Seasons Retirement Home

We spent Christmas with residents of Seasons Retirement Home, sharing stories, playing games, and spreading joy through music.

International Dish Dinner

A celebration of our diverse membership — students brought meals from their cultures and shared traditions over food and fun.

Thames River Cleaning

In collaboration with the Rotary Club of Hyde Park, we carried out a cleanup of the Thames River to help reduce pollution and promote environmental sustainability in London.
